Ekjyot Charitable Foundation

Five ways you can be our charity work partners aimed at proving free eyecare

Ekjyot Charitable Foundation’s principal objective is to help the less fortunate get their sight back and stop people from going blind from preventable eye diseases. Through our joint initiatives & organizational collaborations, we strive to bring clarity and hope to the lives of those in need & yet can’t afford eye treatments. This cause is very dear to us and has been steering us year after year to bring light into scores of lives filled with darkness. Join & help us make this part of the world an abode of opportunity and equity for all. By working together, we can light the way to a future where everyone can see the world clearly and purposefully.

How can you help our Foundation?

Corporate Donations through CSR

CSR donations significantly boost the resources available for conducting our high-frequency free eye camps and mass eye surgeries. Big and middle-rung companies in the corporate sector that focus on healthcare and community development to align their CSR objectives can fuel our outreach by leaps and bounds. With CSR support, we look to create a capital pool dedicated to eye care initiatives, ensuring a sustained flow of financial support for conducting free eye camps and surgeries.

Free Eye Camp Sponsorships by NGOs

We are seeking sponsorship from like-minded NGOs working towards social welfare and economic self-reliance of communities. Their financial, resource, and logistical support have driven our outreach across remote locations and human habitations otherwise lacking basic eyecare facilities. The contributions given include medical supplies, eyewear, Visual aid equipment, camp logistics, patient transportation, refreshments, and volunteer support. We have scores of instances where NGOs collaborated end to end through entire seasons and funded complete eye camps. Several NGOs donate their human resources, network support, and logistics to increase the patient-handling capacity of our free eye camps.

Institutional Funding

Institutional funding is a sustained and long-term channel of funding fuelling our public service and field outreach for free eye care. You could be a bank, a college, a business group, or an elite society to join us in our “Vision for all “initiative.  Such donations allow us to take our “gift of sight drives” to areas that don’t normally get help. We further multiply our reach to more people, impacting more lives, and conduct mass surgery camps with adequate IOL supplies. With institutional partnerships, the objective is to touch as many cases of avoidable blindness and create a future where everyone can see the world clearly and live a life of hope & self-belief. Join us with your institutional support, and let us leave an impact that makes you and us proud by lending a better tomorrow for those who are in need but can’t afford on their own.

Individual Donations:

Individual contributors, enthusiastic about supporting our free eye clinics, or contribute in our fundraising campaigns have been the heroes of our success stories. From public elected representative to social influencers, our foundation has been consistently helped by individual donors, which has enabled us to up scores of free clinics, community screenings, and school screening drives impacting thousands of lives in the process.  We have a systematic mechanism in place for recognizing and thanking individual donations for investing in our cause.

Strategic Partnerships:

As an added measure for fund pooling, we are into forging strategic relationships with eye tech companies, marketing, ophthalmic, and pharma companies to get cheaper access to specialised resources. With these relationships, our eye charity may well be able to raise funding leading to more free eye camps and mass surgeries. We want to involve key stake holders in eye care industry and help our foundation reach more people and get more help and resources for important eye care projects. We could be using such cash and kind donations, camp sponsorships by organisations, and individual donations to accelerate our outreach and cover more territories.
