About Us
Ekjyot Charitable Foundation is a company registered & duly incorporated with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs vide CIN U85100PB2017NPL046668 Dated 13th June 2017. A Company limited by shares, not for profit under section 8 of the Companies Act 2013. Its registered office is located at SCO 21, First Floor, Ganpati Enclave, Dabwali Road, Bathinda, Punjab. The foundation has three Directors, Viz Dr. Kashish Gupta, Dr Manpreet Singh, and Dr Sanjeev Duggal, all three qualified and registered eye practitioners with Punjab Medical counsel.
The foundations serve the underprivileged, marginalized, and poor strata of society with free or subsidized eye care services, from primary eye care to vision-saving eye surgeries. The foundation has an extensive network of eye hospitals in several townships of Punjab & adjacent states.
With an extensive footprint of eye care resources and infrastructure on the ground, the foundation has been penetrating the deep mainland of Punjab & peripheral habitations to give life-changing eye care to communities lacking access to it. With hundreds of free or subsidized eye care camps for around eight years, the foundation distributes free eyewear, medicine, and visual aids to people in need and the oppressed.
The foundation philosophy is based on kindness and inclusion. Our charity work has become a lifeline for people in Punjab, Himachal, Rajasthan, and J&K, giving them not only medical help but also a new sense of worth and power. The Ekjyot Charitable Foundation does more than give away free eye care. With the help and assistance of like-minded entities, organizations, and corporate, it is a force multiplier for change that lights the way to a future full of clarity, kindness, and new hope.
